Technical difficulties of a Product Junky

What better way to pay homage to boxing day and avoid the insanity of crowds, draining ones funds, and hectic traffic on and off the streets than to sit in my comfies at home and produce content for Product Junky?!

While I smudge half-dried nail polish on my key board I am somewhat saddened I couldn’t be doing this while watching the embarrassingly guilty pleasure that is Gossip Girl. I haven’t seen this show for years, but somehow writing about fashion and cosmetics all day just seemed to fit. Alas we swing to the opposite with M*A*S*H and glitter will have the soundtrack of mud and gunfire.

It is hard to decide what to begin on and what to highlight first. A box sits before me overflowing with goods while thousands of people run around the city now grasping at more. The art of consumption and one’s fascination with it.

  1. Wonderful blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thank you

  2. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?

    • To be quite honest – I wasn’t trying to post anything structured at all. It was late, I was tired, I am happy so many people have feedback, but there wasn’t much attempt at a meaty post.
Given my work schedule, I admit content has been quite lack – but promise you this, more imagery in the near future!

  3. I do enjoy the way you have framed this situation plus it does give me personally a lot of fodder for consideration. Nevertheless, from what precisely I have seen, I really wish when other feedback pack on that folks keep on point and don’t get started upon a soap box regarding the news of the day. Still, thank you for this excellent piece and although I can not necessarily concur with the idea in totality, I respect the perspective.
