420 Flea Market kick off at the East Village Factory

I was (almost) prepared for the shock of attending an event only hours after returning to the city hustle. Luckily GlassCity™ had little to do with running this, and Tracy Cake stepped up to run the craft booth and organizing while I was away. There were more people in one room than I had seen in the last 10 days, and of course the million things to catch up on.

Tea time, today I can hide behind the camera.

The 420 Flea Market is hosted for program and non-program guests. Local bakers, craftsmen, & artists display an array of work relating to or welcoming alternative culture. The last event saw items such as glassware, prints, t-shirts, necklaces, canvas, & baked goods. While everyone is welcome, medicinal products may require identification.

GlassCity™ supports resident artists with sales of hand crafted goods and running the concession stand, giving proceeds back to the East Village Factory.
